MyGym Terms and Conditions
MyGym collects and processes information about gym members. The Data Protection Act 2018 requires MyGym to obtain your agreement before this can be done. In signing this form, you are giving consent for your personal and sensitive information to be processed under the rules and safeguards laid down by the Act. MyGym has procedures in place to ensure that all information held about you will be dealt with confidentially,
Please read the following carefully by signing the given form you agree to these term. If you are under 18 a parent or guardian must send a consent email. If you are unable to sign for any other reason, a nominated responsible person may do so on your behalf.
• You must ‘scan’ your QR code at the reception.
• For reasons of health and safety, members must adhere strictly to the following:
- All free weights are to be returned to their racks after use.
- Slamming or dropping of weights is only allowed on the platforms and dropping mats.
- Excessive grunting is not allowed.
- Cardiovascular machines must be wiped after use
- Cups and mugs are not allowed in the gym.
- Members should bring a towel to use during their workout.
- Only liquid chalk is allowed.
- Appropriate gym wear and footwear should be worn. It is not allowed to train shirtless or taking the shirt of for any reason in the gym.
• Management cannot be held responsible for any personal belongings within the premises.
• Members accept to exercise at their own risk. Management is not liable for any injuries caused/incurred through negligent use of the equipment not any injuries caused by members to each other.
• Management reserves the right to alter/add any other conditions as it deems for without notice and to termite membership if members do not abide by the rules and regulations without refund.
• The management reserve the right to exclude any member they deem not to be adhering to any of the above or who by their actions poses a health and safety risk to others.
• Members cannot occupy the lockers after they left the premises. Staff will be allowed to break the padlock at the closing.
• THE MEMBERSHIP CANNOT BE TRANSFERRED OR FREEZE (PUT ON HOLD) FOR ANY REASON.
